If RFK Jr. lies about his own father’s murder, then he will lie about anything

RFK Jr: Minutia peddler
Bobby Kennedy Jr. is inexplicably gaining unexpected strength in recent key-state presidential polls and threatens to be a spoiler who could help the corrupt and dishonest Donald Trump win in November.
In a recent filmed interview, RFK Jr. shows that—wittingly or unwittingly, when speaking about his father’s tragic 1968 assassination—he is competing to be crowned as the second biggest liar in American politics. (at 1:38:34)
As this interview clearly demonstrates, when challenged by those who are unfamiliar with the circumstances of this monstrous crime, RFK Jr. dazzles and distracts them with obscure minutia, offering an overwhelming onslaught of alternative facts about muzzle distance, powder burns, extra bullets, and eyewitness testimonies. He casually discusses controversial firearms identification and ballistics evidence in the case, acting as though he owns Absolute Truth.
Not many people are familiar enough with the facts of the case to dispute him.[1]
Since 2018, RFK Jr. has trumpeted numerous false and misleading claims that the confessed and convicted Sirhan Sirhan is innocent of killing Senator Robert Kennedy and that a hotel security guard, Thane Eugene Cesar, was the real assassin.
Remarkably in 2018, RFK Jr. had a brief but dramatic meeting with Sirhan. Shortly after that extraordinary moment, Kennedy called and told me about the experience, adding that he believed that Sirhan was innocent. Hearing that, I replied, “Bobby, this is the guy who killed your dad.”
Since then, RFK Jr. has launched a personal crusade for Sirhan’s discharge from a state prison. Surprisingly, the California parole board sided with Kennedy in August 2021, recommending that the state free Sirhan.
In October 2021, I sent a letter to Governor Gavin Newsom, appealing to him to strike down the board’s recommendation for Sirhan’s release. For a variety of legitimate reasons, Newsom—who, like so many of us, admires and respects Senator Kennedy's legacy of government service—overturned the board’s decision in January 2022. Sirhan rightly remains behind bars.
The Harvard man v. the Akron U grad?
To business: RFK Jr. attended Harvard, the London School of Economics, and later the University of Virginia, where he received his law degree.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Akron but did not finish the coursework for my master's degree at Kent State. I left graduate school to investigate—and to write my first book about—the murder of Jimmy Hoffa in July 1975. Twenty years later, I published my fifth book about the murder of Senator Robert F. Kennedy in which I concluded that Sirhan did it and did it alone.
Notably, I am the only person in the world, living or dead, who has interviewed both Sirhan and the late Gene Cesar, an innocent man wrongly accused who gave me his power of attorney before he died.
To put this controversy to rest, will some authoritative person please step forward and arrange for the Harvard man and the Akron U grad to meet for a public discussion about the killing of RFK Jr’s father—who was America’s greatest crimefighter while serving as U.S. Attorney General? And, by the way, one of AG Kennedy’s top lieutenants, the late great Walter Sheridan, was my personal mentor during the Hoffa murder case.
Even though RFK Jr. has a far superior education and greater life experiences than I do, he will not be able to run over me with his twisted recitation of the case’s minutia. And I would humbly and respectfully challenge his idiotic, QAnon-like, pro-Sirhan conspiracy theories, proving, once and for all, that RFK Jr. is nothing more than an empty vessel.
If RFK Jr. is willing to lie about the circumstances of his own father’s murder and its aftermath, then he will lie about anything.
ENDNOTE
[1] The world’s expert on the universe of minutia in the murder case of Senator Robert Kennedy is my friend and colleague, British historian Mel Ayton. To be clear, I know and understand the details of this investigation as well as anyone, except for Mel who is peerless.
You would take him, hands down
I’ve been surprised how much air time he gets
