This afternoon, we joined an assembly of admirers to pay respects to our treasured friend, the world-class artist, Kebedech Tekleab, at the Katzen Arts Center on the campus of American University.  The school is featuring her beautiful yet poignant paintings and sculptures in an exhibition titled, “Blue and Gray:  This Era of Exile. “
