A secret meeting in Las Vegas

            I flew to Las Vegas and arrived at about 10:30 A.M. on Sunday, August 27.  I rented a Thunderbird and visited some local friends and acquaintances, including the always controversial but fascinating Bob Maheu, with whom I had lunch at his home, and Howard Schwartz, the colorful manager of the Gamblers Book Club.
